Double DIN, wiring question ... (1 Viewer)

Plan to fit a Sony AX200 double-din box in 2015 Ducato.

It seems that I'll need to locate and identify the wiring for the reversing light (for the reversing camera) and the parking-brake wiring (so I can't watch the latest blockbuster whilst driving)

Can anyone who's done this gimme a clue?

I presume that the reversing connection will be the simplest as there'll be a switch adjacent to the gear mechanism somewhere. Not really bothered about the parking one as I don't own any DVD's but would like to make a 'proper' job of it.

You might want to tell us what the base vehicle is i.e. Ducato, Merc etc.

When I installed my Clarion unit I gave up trying to find the reversing light feed in the fuse box in the end it was quicker to run a wire to the rear light cluster. I didn't bother about the handbrake wire I just grounded it.

Doubt it, I gave up when I did mine every article you find on the web gives different info on wire colours none were correct.
