Hi all,how do you keep yor door open ? and small gust off wind and mine closes again any ingenious inventions out there or is it just string

I have something very similar to this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/WHITE-DO...d=link&campid=5338547443&toolid=20001&mkevt=1 works pretty well but they do need replacing every few years as the plastic wears. Do a search on eBay for Caravan door retainer, there are quite a number of different types. I kept the same type as my MoHo came with as it meant I could reuse the same holes and a good blob of sikaflex.

We got fed-up with the door slamming shut and putting a dent in the fly screen so we fitted a simple catch.

Years ago at one of the shows I bought an anchor for the door, it's just a small suction cup with a small diameter bungee loop, the suction cup goes on the moho level with the bottom locking bolt which the bungee loop goes over, It's never let me down but I don't use it if half a gale is blowing.

Going all posh after years of a bungee. They are ok but make all sorts of funny sausage shapes as they stretch over time...

If going down the "bungee cord" route.....Please please think twice.
My wee sis is a sister in local A&E and has seem many many facial injuries (including permanent eye damage) caused by hook on the cords end unhooking itself and flying into the face.
Dangerous pieces of kit..
