2007 Swift Kon Tiki Tag door stay

Contacted dealer who we purchased the van from, they say they have contacted Swift and the part is no longer available.

The broken end must have had some sort of fitting on the end to fit into the hole you can see in the picture, don't have that bit anymore.

Any suggestions where I might get one that fits, with the right fitting on the end (unlikely)?

Thanks

Steve

Try O'Leary - they buy up a load of old model 'new' stock from Swift and it would be highly unlikely if they didn't have the part! Note that their website only shows a very, very small fraction of what they actually have in stock.

With all the info supplied on here by fellow Funsters, (ie
  • OPEN LENGTH 530 MM APPROX
  • BODY LENGTH 280 MM APPROX
  • CHROME SHAFT 200 MM APPROX
  • STROKE 190 MM APPROX
  • BODY DIA 15 MM APPROX

I'd be looking somewhere else at the price I've just seen.:Eeek:
Try the unbroken end in where it is missing. I think it will be the same dimensions

If you were local I would say pop in with the van and the part, 98% sure we could fabricate a solution
but your difficult to help with a generic UK location
