Travel lock has broken
Salad drawer cracked - glued
Shelf edges, the ones that stop stuff sliding off.
Freezer door lock
And now, a door shelf has broken

I've had a Dometic fridge in my last van - the entire door fell of my one.
Every one is having the same problems with all the latest Dometic fridges.
I am so please they fitted a Thetford one in my new van.

They can withstand a lot of bouncing about.

A domestic, light commercial or even industrial units can withstand a lot of use, even in transportation.

Think of bar fridges on the bay of Biscay. The transport from china to your home in the UK.

A domestic compressor as a component in your home is probably, thee most reliable thing you have.

In use 24 hours a day, running 30-90 % oh the time. Hermetically sealed, usually for life, no maintenance, self lubricating and reliable.

Thetford fridges arent much better IME. Shelf edge brackets all snapped replaced with spring loaded shelf retainer things. Van just 18 months old

As for the freezer door lock, we had a problem with ours freezing up causing the flimsy plastic lever to snap but thanks to Paul and Chrissy he made a much better one on his 3D printer.
we still had the lock freezing problem though, so I stripped the lock down and fitted some polyurethane draft excluder inside as a thermal barrier also around the cutout in the door, worked a treat upto now
as for the rest of your problems we personally have not experienced any of them, but I do know plastic shelves are a fortune.
