Hi
Help please
Got Motorhome out of storage on Friday, l, turned fridge on gas , lit no problem left on for about 30min
Arrived on site , fridge lit on gas , went out after 40min, wouldn’t re ignite, even afternumerous attempts
Turned off over night, lit again in the morning but off within 30/40min
Yes got gas and level , all other items using gas fine
Any suggestions please

Start at the gas jet ,then work back along the piping until you reach the valve ,then tap the valve a couple of times with a spanner and see if your jet flame increases if the answer is yes ,should be problem solved. If laid up for a while the valve can stick.

Prior to using the gas, did you have it running on 240V?

Meadow view Had problems with our Dometic fridge last year. Despite ringing round several places without success ended up back at the dealers for them to fix - took 2 trips before it was properly fixed. Given the number of people who are reporting problems with Dometic fridges I have to wonder whether they're fit for purpose. You could try this company - not used them.

Oh, and welcome to the group from another Uttoxeter resident.

No, didn’t know what the problem was but on watching the engineer fit it, it wouldn’t be a problem to do yourself, Calibre Caravan Services Hednsford did mine

Try a can of compressed air in through the exterior vent, works a treat!
