Dometic fridge freezer fault? Please help!

Hello, I hope someone can give me advice. Our Dometic RMS8501 Fridge Freezer is not working on gas. It works on EHU and it appears to work off the vehicle battery when the engine is running.
When on gas, it lights up the flame and stays lit. No fault light is shown but it is not cooling the fridge or freezer. All other gas appliances work as normal.
Currently on holiday near Aberdeen and heading North.
It's a 2014 Apache Autotrail, had it for over 2 years and its always worked well. Are there any checks I can do? there is power to the fridge, no fault warning and the gas burner is lit.

Just because it is lit does not mean it is any good. Should be an oval flame blue & you should hear a roar . It might well need cleaning or the jet may even be partially blocked

Clean thermocouple tip ,check the flu is clean and blow out the jet orifice but don't poke it with anything .Ensure you have a strong blue flame when lit.

Many thanks for the quick replies, the thermocouple tip is clean. Removed the burner front cover plate, burner looks clean and hardly any debris in the area below it. None of the burner slots were blocked. Used a sevylor kayak pump and blew air through the horizontal burner and down the vertical flue. Did not observe any debris. When re lit the blue flame is serrated like teeth across the burner. It does burn louder than before. Will run it through the night and see what happens. Thanks again for your advice.

Sorry can't help. I was attracted to your thread because back in 2018 when we bought our van new, the only issue we've ever had was that the Dometic RMS 8400 fridge would work on gas but would go off after 20 minutes. This was an issue from new, we had it fixed under warranty and it has been Ok ever since. I've got no idea what the cause was, they did tell me but it went straight over my head
It wasn't picked up on the pre-delivery inspection because it was working, but it wasn't left on for that long.
Good luck, it makes living off grid a wee bit more difficult

Our little fridge was burning away but not doing any cooling the other day, turned it off and back on and it behaved for a couple of days.
Manic had all the burner and chimney out this morning and got a lot of soot out of it all.
Working again now!
