Hi, been away this weekend obviously fridge freezer working overtime, noticed a steady drip drip from under the van (adria coral) almost under the fridge. Checking there appears to be water on the floor which is finding a way out.
Looking in the fridge the fins are wet and dripping into the drain hole, the handbook talks of a container to collect water which then evaporates but I guess it is overflowing. Search as I may I can't find it, so anyone had a similar issue?, if so we're you able to fettle a modification to divert the water outside? All advice welcome.

It's usually clipped to one of the hot pipes, changed mine to piped directly out the drain hole, stopped the overflow and the mess.

Ours was behind the bottom vent. When defrosting the fridge I pulled the pipe out of the little container and extended it out onto the floor.
Now I converted it to compressor fridge I drilled a hole and it drips underneath now 👍

Thanks, I took the vent off but couldn't find it, maybe when it cools down a bit I,ll have another go.

Could be the container is missing. Check if any of the visible pipes don't seem to go anywhere.
There again has someone already done the mod and that's where the water is dripping from?
Finally is the drain hole clear? Had something similar when the fridge was working overtime and a small blockage was preventing the drain from emptying properly.

Dometic 10 series fridge doesn’t have the water container it goes straight out by pipe or it should 😏

Did you drill a hole in the door to see if the light goes out as well ?😎 Phil

I extended the hose out through the vent so it drips outside the van
I have done exactly the same. The silly little container was particularly prone to overflowing when the fridge was shut down, now I can leave the motorhome in the storage yard without worrying about a flood.

On my Adria Matrix it's behind the external lower vent.
I finally found it, take out bottom vent, lay on back and look up and you can just see it ! Manage to extract the drain tube and extend it, so it should now drip out of the drain hole in floor, next hot spell will tell.
