Nine years in theory, a newby in practice!!!
A near neighbour who has a small motorhome went to start it up yesterday and had a flat battery, so he decided to take it a short run to the next village 4 miles away and take a parcel to the Post Office and get some bits from the Spar.
On coming out of the Spar he was confronted by three women who were pointing at him and giving him abuse for being out in his 'van. They wouldn't give him a chance to explain so he jumped in his 'van and drove off.
Something I've half expected on the few occasions I've had my 'van out.
I suppose my Scottish accent wouldn't help here in Wales :whistle2:

Are you saying the three women were dogs ?
Interfering busy bodies who should be minding their own business definately, but a bit extreme to call them dogs.
But then again, we didn`t see them.

Just for my confused interest, why have you titled it Dogs abuse? I can't see any connection with dogs .
I suspect he really means the name for a female dogs ... but daren't put it as the title!

The irony, of course, is that an epidemiologist is NOT necessarily a clinician: he/she/it is a statistician, and we know how they can massage figures don't we!
John
Not necessarily

Agreed. I did state 'not necessarily'. However, it is not worth knicker twisting over!

It's just a very common saying, obviously not in your neck of the woods!!!!!
