When we take our dog to Brugge,for just 3 nights,do we still need to visit a vet before we can return ?

Doesn't matter how many nights you still need to comply with the regulations not know eh you intend gong but something concrete should be know at or before Brexit. Try the DEFRA website.

You can visit the vet in the UK before leaving for such a short trip. Sounds unreal but it's true as the treatment and check can be up to 5 days before return and it can be done in the UK. The day before or the day you leave will work for a three day trip.

Yes. We take ours to his/our vet, localto us, before we go, and they sort paperwork out ready for our return.

We've done a couple of long weekends where we've used our local UK vet on the day of travel and returned before the 5 day limit. It's a lot cheaper and saves wasting an hour or two while you are away.
