Dog friendly beaches - South of France

I’m looking for recommendations for sites near dog friendly beaches/lakes.
We are heading over to France on the 19th Sept, heading south and wanting to pitch up and relax. We are aware there have been postings on MHF but for the life of us we can trace!! We would ideally like to be close enough to walk to restaurants etc. Not much of an ask! but I’m sure many on here will know of locations that fit our wish list.

We spent a week around Cavaliere a few years ago, never really found any dog friendly beaches, but did find one that seemingly belonged to the beach cafe near Le Lavandou. The owner let us exercise our Labrador after 5 pm when he had closed.

Argeles Sur Mer has a dog friendly beach outside the ACSI site Soleil. Site may be shutting soon but there are other non ACSI sites nearby. Great beach for dogs.
