Agree about alarms being ignored, but if you link the alarm to a tracker so when alarm goes off get an alert with the van location and the sensor triggered, followed by a call from the centre, they can be useful.Mine has an alarm /immobiliser.
Insurance companies like alarms but I'm very doubtful whether they achieve anything. Every alarm I've heard going off has been ignored. Same with house alarms.
We have the same, as could not get new van insured without Alarm & Fully active tracker, which was annoying as it delayed us picking up the new van for just over a month due to Vanbitzes popularity and there appt diary was fully booked.[QUOTE="Abacist,
New van will have a @Vanbitz Growler and Tracker plus standard Fiat immobiliser.
