Hi
I've just sold my van and now on the lookout for something new.

I'm thinking of a panel van conversion or coach built but no wider than a panel van, compacts are they called?
Here is what we are looking for:-
Rear u shaped lounge
front dinette table
The hard bit to find, we would like a separate shower (not a wet toilet area).
A tall Thetford fridge (or similar make).
Around 6m to 7.5m
2 or more person.

I've looked at Auto sleeper Peugeot range and also considered the Auto-Trail V line range. Both ranges are close but not good enough.

Do you have any suggestions please for me to look at.

IH or Vantage make good PVCs they may have what your looking for.

Take a look for McLaren Shadow they look nice with a rear lounge but not sure on the shower.

Exhibitions.....There's one coming up in Manchester this month (January) with more to follow elsewhere no doubt. If you don't see what you like there, it doesn't exist.

Ours has rear u shaped lounge, and separate enclosed shower cubicle. Not a tall fridge though, just under the counter.

Loads of them, Very popular with the UK converters. IH, Vantage, Consort, S&L, Autosleeper, V-lines to name a few. We have one, the U shaped lounge is very nice for relaxing in during the evenings in less good UK weather and then makes up into an enormous king sized bed. Some leave it as two singles. The U-shape tends to give good storage.

We have an IH630RL.

I haven’t seen a PVC with a separate toilet and shower even on the 680 merc or VW from IH. The bathroom is very nice but the vans do feel narrow even to us short arses!

Dreamer Living Van: Rear u-shaped lounge, separate toilet and shower, reasonable size fridge and front dinette table. You can even leave the rear lounge in situ as there is a bed in the roof which comes down. dash300 will tell you all about it.

Design your own and get one of the bespoke converters to build it for you. I'm getting a MAN TGE LWB high roof (6.8m long) converted to my spec but not a rear lounge, mine will have an electric bed (sleeping longitudinal) to provide variable carrying space.
