Spent some lovely winters here with PenelopePitstop... Marie & Rex and a load of others...

Never hear the place mentioned much now since Marie gave up her winter corner spot... :(

Some great evenings and afternoons with the resident Brit band... :dance2:

And a couple of great birthday`s...:party2::beerchug:

We were there the year before last! I liked it!?

We stayed there for 3 weeks over the Spanish Easter holiday in 2017 and were given the pitch rite beside Marie and Rex!
Havta say we thoroughly enjoyed their company (I like my alcohol and reckon I can hold ma own in most company but the both of Em saw me under the table!)?.
They were packing to leave and head back to the UK, and told us that 2018 would probably be their last year overwintering in Spain.
We waved goodbye to them after two weeks.
The site was a very different place after their departure,,, it was absolutely rammed with Spanish Caravanners when we got there (we'd booked in advance) and what a joyous bunch they were, but obviously they left enmasse at the end of the Easter hols and then a couple of days later Marie and Rex went too...
Suddenly we were living in silence! It took some getting used to.
Not too sure if we'd go back there, couldn't take our two Jacks on the beach,,, no dogs, no horses, no this or that.
We're currently in Sanluca de Barrameda, near Cadiz,,, been here for about six weeks,,, godda leave on Sunday though ?☹️
Weather has been glorious,,,
the drive North to a cold and wet Norfolk is not warmly anticipated!

We had a four week stay over Christmas a couple of years ago liked it the only down side for us was you need a pitch that’s not under the trees in the winter and none were available.??

We have been staying there for a while during the last 3 winters. We were there last year and will be staying there again sometime during this March. Richard and Gay, Michelle and Charles, Rob and Sarah are still regulars. Suzie still frequents the bar ::bigsmile:.

We were there 2nd week in Feb and enjoyed it, though there were a lot of Brits there who seemed to be long termers and were quite cliquey. Star of the show was the little pig who wanders around in the field next door. Downside was that they didn't appear to spray against caterpillars and there were a few around. Superb retinto steaks in the restaurant. Sadly most of the rest of surrounding bars, chiringuitos and restaurants were all closed.

We were there at the same time - for about 4 nights. It was quiet when we arrived, but then the Spanish arrived en masse for Easter .

It happened that we were pitched in the 'Spanish Section.' Next day, we moved to the 'British/German/Dutch Section'. :giggle:
