Today I clicked on a link in an email notification concerning a thread I was following and it took me to the front door of this forum - the place where the unsigned get hit with big banner adverts. Quite right too, methinks, you pays your money (or not) and you takes your chance. What I wasn't expecting was a distinctly dodgy advert - dodgy in the sense that it is clearly a scam.
Now, I am fairly confident that most funsters will see through things like this but I am not sure that giving screen space to such things does much for the reputation of an otherwise generally trustworthy and reliable forum.
