Well of course you do but have you read the instruction? I hadn't but as a result we use ours differently.
They go something like this...
First open the slider, then flush the toilet.
Use the toilet then flush again, finally closing the slider.
The disadvantage of this procedure is that it makes it harder to find in the dark!:whistle2:

if you clean the toilet bowl and give it a good coat of car wax, it makes it far more non stick. therefore reducing the need to preflush and lubricate the bowl

I respect the environment, I save water and electricity. I poke it all down with a twig, which is recycled at the nearest recycle point.

Yay, go, extinction rebellion!

Have you seen Greta Thunbergs book? published by penguin, (are they endangered?) It's about 4 pages thick, at least shes saving on paper. I wonder if they use recycled toilet paper to print it on?

Many years ago we were at a summer fete and a stallholder was selling recycled toilet paper.:unsure::tmi:

An article in this month’s magazine discusses precisely this, explaining the many combinations and their advantages:)

In American motorhomes, the loo is like a conventional china loo in a house but, with bells and whistles

As you lift the lid, two things happen, a little spray of air freshener is discreetly emitted, and a little bit of water released in to the bowl.

When you done your poo, tapping a little button with your foot, starts the cleaning process in that warm water is sprayed up and onto your bum, cleaning you. Releasing the floor switch starts the gentle warm air drying process which works remarkably well and takes about 15 seconds.

A pressure sensor on the toilet seat, closes the lid, flushes and sprays a light mist of disinfectant over everything.

Once the V10 engine is started, the waste in the black tanks is ground up by a macerator, and when the exhaust is hot enough, the ground up waste is sprayed into the twin exhaust manifolds, which vaporises the ground up up and goes out of the exhaust as steam

....... I had just returned from golf in my Hymer and had some Tee's on the passenger seat.
When I pulled in for some diesel, the station operator said what a nice motorhome it was, and what were those little sticks on the passenger seat.
I replied that they were tee's to put your balls on when driving.
Blimey he said,........ these hymer's think of everthing..........:Eeek:
