We need to disable the tilt alarm when on the ferry tomorrow. Have had a dummy run whilst at our storage site but it disabled door alarm. What are we doing wrong? Advice needed 🙏

If you have the phantom app then go into service mode and it will allow you to switch off the alarms for any period of time you require,

Thanks, I’ll pass it on to hubby, fingers crossed.

Yes do believe we can, thanks for that.

On our recent Ireland ferry trip we forgot about the alarm, when my phone rang from them i just put in my 4 digit pint to confirm all was well.
Wasn't aware you could disable it on the app.

Can you just lock it on your key rather than alarm for the ferry ?
Depending on which alarm/type is fitted if they see the vehicle moving with no ignition and alarm off this will cause them to contact you.

Have the phantom sentinel alarm and tracker and never really thought about it. Set it as normal on the ferry out from Newcastle to Ijmuiden. No issues.

Yes we do the same. I have seen many cars with flat batteries in the morning after the alarms going off all night.

Another tip. Try and get a cabin on one of the top decks. You will not be kept awake by the car alarms going off.
