We are in the throes of specking up our new PVC but want diesel heating/hot water but are undecided as to wether to go for ebersbacher or webasto which is best or are they much the same any useful info would appreciated. Richard

I had eberspacher on my boat and it was very problematic and needed an engineer with box of tricks to sort it out on more than one occasion

Don't know much about the webasto but was told it's a better system by a few on the marina

On and off for many years.
We had diesel heating in our last van, it did the job but I could smell it even when no one else could.

I've had both, Webasto every time for me. I wouldn't have an Erbersplutter given to me.

Race van conversion for years
We had a D2 Eberspacher in our race van 7 years (never serviced:whistle:) no problems, never let us down. plus it was a SH ex BT unit.
