I would like to find a data only SIM for use in a TP Link mifi router the UK. Any suggestions please? Minimum 200Gb per month, but unlimited would be preferable.

🍺

I like Scancom, though you do pay up front which some don't like to do.

Smarty unlimited worked fine for me with a TP-Link Archer MR600, although buried in their terms you are only supposed to have up to 8 devices connected. Advantage you can only pay on monthly basis and so suspend for up to 6 months. Works through the Three network, so as with any Sim, make sure there is coverage in the area(s) you will be visiting.

I have a EE unlimited in my router, for 36 per month.

I have a smarty sim for both my phone and router. £5.40 for my phone and £18.00 for unlimited data in my router.

Think I have a referal code somewhere.

PAYG so you can stop and start as needed.

I think you may find that some phone sims will not work in a router🤔
I bought a Vodafone sim, which would work in a router, but kept dropping the signal for a few minutes at at time. Cancelled the contract within the 14 day cooling off period.

We are using a Voxi SIM which piggybacks on Vodafone.
£12 per month for 60Gb data on a 30 day rolling contract.
Good thing is many of the streaming services don’t eat into this 60Gb allowance so depending on what you choose to watch it is unlimited (See below).
Doesn't have an app but can add the webpage to your Home Screen to check usage etc.
Works fine in my router but make sure you can access SMS messages from your router as sometimes get logged out of web page and a 6 digit code is required to log back in and this is sent via an SMS message.

Offer expires in 2 days but there maybe a better Black Friday deal coming, not sure though.I also tried via TopCashback but it never tracked.

My daughter has a regular voice and data Smarty unlimited SIM in a router. Between her and the flatmate they use about 300gb each month. £20 a month, no contract etc.

That's a very good deal 👍
I’ve had it for over a year, suspended (you can do this for up to 6 months, I believe) it a couple of times, to RWG in eu, and expected to lose the deal but kept it and they have carried it on for another year🙂

Smarty for me too, full coverage even in the highlands, good in Europe if it wasn’t for the fair usage.

It's for my daughter who has bought a narrow boat to live on, so fortunately it's only needed in the UK.

I have RWG and Reglio SIMs for use with the moho mifi here in France.

Look at HotUKDeals website, there are good deals on ID (Three) and Vodafone 12 month sims at present. Hubby got a 200gb phone SIM for the equivalent of £8 a month. There's no restrictions on using them in mifis.

Before you sign up check you can get a signal inside the boat ? Mine was a 40 steel boat and i couldn't get a wifi signal inside.

Not really, but it's only going to sit in a router.
Depends on the router but I can send a 'reboot' text message to my Teltonika router. Kinda handy having that option.

I'm with https://talkmobile.co.uk/ - 50GB for £8/month. They do a unlimited for £16/month

Free EU Roaming but limited to 5GB/month free I think.

We've been using scancom for last 2 years on EE and from 4 years ago (3) but moved to a 3 native business contract last renewal as cheaper than via scancom for my own business.

You have to prepay to get best rates, but currently works out on scancom at around £8/mo for a prepay unlimited EE and £5/mo for Three. (prepaid for 2years in advance).

We have 4 sims -> but as others have warned on other threads, if prepaying on them you would be advised to do using a card with section 75 protection, ie, a credit card. If you paying monthly with them (which isn't always a better deal) my experience it is a direct contract with Three or EE, so less need to do that.

I use smartphone motorhome 5G. £20 /month for unlimited use. Good reception as we now both work from MH as an office whilst on the road

ID mobile currently have black Friday offers for unlimited. I am currently paying £15 and back in April may - June also had unlimited whilst in France..(for calls and data). Although I suspect this may have changed (so I have heard) by them starting to enforce fair use policy at a lower level. Previously they only invoked if abused for more months than than used at home (4 was the typical breakpoint). Hopefully I'll get to test this theory again next year.

We have Talkmobile SIMs in our phones which allow us to keep our UK numbers.
