I am a newbie
Hi all, just going round my 2008 swift lifestyle with the damp meter and had some high readings around the rear lounge rear window, 28% around most of the window but 89% in one spot and pimples in the wall. Just wondering if you have any good recommendations for anyone around the Welwyn garden city area or near by to have a look to advise and do any work required.
Many thanks.

Sorry can't ofefr any advice but sure someone will come along with idreas.
Just a thought. Have you had it long? Thinking about the faint hope of a warranty!

Your swift is far younger than mine. I'm new to this but had a habitation check done last week with high damp levels around the side window door and read window. The guy said it was due to the sealant being worn around the top of the window hinge thing and the door. They removed sealant and re sealed them. Seemed to do the trick, I did have a few drops of water run down the wall under the window but must have caught it before damaged was caused. Hope you get it fixed and someone can offer more expert advice.
