CUTTING MEMORY FOAM MATTRESS?

Thinking of buying an memory foam double size mattress which is 20cm deep. This will have to be cut to shape to fit our "French" bed. Has any one had a go at this? If so what advise can you offer?

We cut our one at home from super king down to king. No problem just used a good Stanley knife.

Cut ours using a big sharp kitchen knife
Very dense so cuts easy.

I used my chicken scissors, measure twice, cut once.

not much point, being memory foam it will take up original size and shape, hee hee

I used a bread knife. Made a pigs ear of it, still with a mattress protector on you can't see it.
