enough to know i shouldnt touch things i know nothing about ....
when we bought our new to us motorhome late last year, we noticed one of the wall cupboard catches was very stiff and you had to slightly 'twist the door to open it. no problem as we soon got the hang of it. the catch for the door is built neatly into the handle

when we had the habitation test, it came up on the job sheet and i was asked if i wanted them to fix it, i said no, its ok as i will sort it myself (thinking a bit of wd40 or moving the mechanism slightly).

finally got round to doing it this week, after about ten minutes scratching my head, i realised the bloody handle had been put on upside down and was prob like that since new (2015 !!!) the catch was on the top instead of the bottom, so the lever didnt withdraw far enough

so now its all perfect, but for a 2 minute job, i wonder what the habitation tester would have charged, though as it cost over £200 i am a bit dissappointed they just didnt do the job for free and a 'goodwill' gesture, though i bet they hadnt worked out it was fitted upside down !

so, check that none of your handles are on upside down !! from first sight ours looked identical any way up !

I find a squirt of silicone spray gets catches working well again.....I purchased a can originally to aid dragging an awning on to the caravan before getting the moho. It's the stuff used to lubricate the cassette o-ring and works well on preserving window rubbers too (stops them sticking to the side of the van when not opened for long periods).

Glad you laughed Minxy Girl, sometimes, I think I sail a little close to the wind
I've was called a lot worse at home and school when I was a kid, Smelly Melly, Melly the Elephant etc (I don't like being called Melly which one of the porters at work found out once when he was being a prat (in front of a group of them) and called me Melly in a whiny voice, I told him in no uncertain terms not to do it again ... ever ... and he never did (none of the others dare eithe!). The only exception was my late MIL who called me Mellie but she had a lovely way of saying it. Also as my surname was Napier I got called nappy rash etc (can't repeat some of them!), so being called ... Manky Minkey is nothing by comparison! :giggle:

Okay, when you say a 'positive click' do you mean that some engage fully and hold the cupboard closed whereas others don't so you can simply pull the cupboard open with out using the handle to release the clip?If so it could be that the cupboard door has a very slight warp in it so you need to push it in to get it to fully engage (our fridge is like that).

If that's not it then it could be that the plate which the catch hooks onto need moving forwards a bit, or even raising up - we had this with some catches in a previous PVC and I just removed the plate, put some spacers under it, then refitted it and it solved the problem.
