Just fitted a Victron inverter/charger so no need for this CTEK charger anymore. This is a great charger with multistage charging and battery reconditioning ability. Cost over £220 and it's on eBay with no reserve so maybe grab a bargain.

If I recall correctly I did, think £231 or something,but I was in a rush as was due to go away a few days later and the company which would do next day delivery the price was the price

Yes but there are chargers well under that price. Sealey and Ring being two.

When I decided to buy the CTEK I did a lot of homework and a lot of chargers didn't have the ability to 'regenerate' batteries which may have been taken below 50% by increasing the charge rate to over 15v, can't remember the exact voltage but along with the 8 stage charge steps, it met my requirements

I was charged the same for delivery of one of those plastic sings ( red and white striped thing ) I declined ...
Bought one locally for the same price and the manager popped it round to me !
