This morning we woke with 'itchy feet' and decided to leave the campsite at Iseo village and drive further round Lake Iseo of the pretty town of Lovere.

We're staying at the Aire close to the lakeside (Campercontact 47353) and has wonderful views of the lake and mountains.

We walked the short distance into the town

And found ourselves a little bar in the square - opposite the old tower, where we enjoyed a couple of beers and watched the world go by.

The aire is much quieter and peaceful than the campsite, infact we're the only ones here !

Just having a little siesta, then heading into town for a bite to eat.

Ciao Bella !

@Lenny HB - you'd like it here !

For tonight's dinner, Tripadvisor lead us to a modern restaurant, serving traditional Italian cuisine - with a twist !!

For appetisers we were served deep fried Cod, served on a sauce of Melon and Chilli

image.jpeg

We ordered a bottle of red wine and a bottle of mineral water.

image.jpeg

We had a mixed salad

image.jpeg

For main course Mrs C chose pasta with Wild Boar Ragu (it was a large portion)
image.jpeg

I chose the chefs special - wild Mushroom Risotto (tasted creamy and yummy)
image.jpeg

Desert was a bit wired - Liquorice Panacotta

A fusion of the familiar with a modern twist - beautifully prepared.

Can you guess the bill ( in €) ?

We were going for a meal out tonight in blaye but it has persisted down so we have stayed in and fried up some cheese and tomato and had it with some French bread, don't bother guessing it was about two euros;):)

Bev's not in yet, can you all wait for an hour :)
No
I'll be in bed then - we're an hour ahead of you and I'm normally tucked up by 9:00

Hang on a minute, she's not gone out and left those poor innocent babes alone with you David?

You're bound to break them

Poor little mites
