I applied for a new passport on Thursday afternoon on line no hassle dead easy ,it has just been delivered now . Government departments get a lot of stick but to issue a new passport in basically 2 working days fair play to them . I see the European Union bit has been dropped !

Did you have to send them your current passport by post? The website says 3 weeks, so yours was really quick!

Yes I sent it by post but filled the application on line , on the website it said to allow up to 3 weeks for the new passport but as I said it only took 2 working days . Excellent service ?

I did the same recently but still had to send in my old Passport for them to send it back with the corner cut offI think the new one arrived in about 7/10 days,it sure had gone up in price since the last one 10 years ago.
Early doors I know but we will all have to check out what else is needed to take the van abroad,from Oct 31st as I think the EHIC wont help much for emergency health insurance after Brexit along with probably needing visas and IDP & Green cards .
Assuming that we actually do Leave one day.

DVLA seem to be on the ball as well, at least for me!
New driving licence applied for as coming up to 70. Application on line and new licence delivered in 3 days. Still has the EU flag top left but also has Union Flag on centre right.
