Just got our V5 through. Whoop Whoop.

The VCA took 10 days turnaround for the certificate to come through. Sent the V55/4 and certificate of newness off the next day after a few friendly and helpful chats with DVLA and 10 days later I have the log book.

Very chuffed.

Thanks to all on this forum who gave informative and helpful advice. It certainly made the process much easier.

Compliments for the DVLA. I need to lie down to recover from shock.

Im a newbie
I took a cherished number off my van online in seconds. It also cost 26 quid less to put the number on retention than it used too . It used to be a long wait in our local DVLA office ! The refund for the tax came in 4 working days.

I hate to see people loosing their jobs but the computers do it faster with less fuss and in my case cheaper.. (y)(y)
