I am surprised Stuff missed out WEllington as Garage Project is really good.

to be honest it’s hard to find a bad beer in New Zealand but for Craft Beers you cannot really go wrong with any of the following

Yeastie Boys
Tuaratara
hallertau

We did NZ for 3 months about 5yrs ago. Supped a lot of craft beers over there but was generally disappointed , a bit hit and miss with many being a bit Hoppy. Settled for mass produced Speights beers, knew what I was getting.
