COVID Jab done

Ours are due Tuesday.

Once again, me at 1100hrs, Mrs Maison at 1310hrs. The vaccination centre is a car drive away but two journeys are (hopefully) worth the outcome.

it shouldn’t matter, if one is vulnerable protect the whole unit surely
We’re giving the vaccine by age groups. People with far more expertise than us have looked at who is most vulnerable and given them priority. Surely you’re not trying to push in before your turn.

Nice one, I wish they would do households at the same time though, makes sense to me 🤔
We have that problem, wife done today, first jab, mine won’t be done for approximately three weeks, she’s the vulnerable one, but you think because of that I’d get mine at the same time.

The vulnerable one in our household died last year , I don’t really get your point, but no 🤔

Very soon. Within the next ten days my guess
Wow, lucky you I'm in the same CCG and in my 70's and haven't been given a date yet. If it helps the CEO of the vax program lives within 3 miles of you. ;)

So what you’re saying is that all people in one household should be vaccinated at the same time as the first one (the most vulnerable) There are many households with elderly family members, giving vaccine to all members of the household at the same time as the oldest would take vaccines that other elderly persons should be having.

I still don’t get your point but will resist replying having been drinking and I strongly disagree

I think 🤔

Let’s just take our turn as the professionals have worked it out , the roll out is going to plan , so let’s not rock the boat , supply might limit the numbers , especially when the second jab got to be given

We just all have to be patient is all, because the immuno suppressed exceedingly clinically vulnerable people cannot be vaccinated, neither can anyone who has tested positive within the last 4 weeks. So even when we've achieved enough herd immunity to be allowed out to play again - we still shouldn't let our guards down entirely.

Max had his today we had phone call at 8.45am this morning from Gp “can you come at 11.45”
it was really well organised in one way way out another.

We dread telling his sister as she is 6 years older than him registered at same Gp but she has to go to the mass vaccination centre at Carmarthen next week.

Here in Hywel Dda health board over 80’s in Gp surgery 75-79 mass vaccination centre 70-74 Gp surgery I’m in the next group so not sure where mine will be.

really encouraging to hear so many people getting 'Jabbed' and happy to do so, just get annoyed when people refuse it !!!!! their choice, but still think if you turn it down just to be awkward you shouldn't be treated if you get it. My mum ( 92) still can't get hers ( Burnley) think that is disgusting.
