The wonderful Cathedral/Mosque in Cordoba is on our bucket list and will be ticked off in early January 2022 on our way down to the coast.
There are two overnight stops listed on Search for Sites, the better one seems to be Autocaravanas Cordoba
This looks close to the cathedral but access is noted as "difficult"
Has anyone been there recently in a 7.5m motorhome?
Any problems with the location?
Having seen the Alhambra and fought our way through their notorious ticket booking system, the one for Cordoba Mosque looks a lot better but will obviously advance book our tickets.
Any comments and advice welcome.

Stayed there last week - access is fine (we're 8m) and it's brilliant for the city centre - only a 5 min walk.

A shame you can't see this post

I cant help with autocaravanas Cordoba but we have stayed in Parking del Arenal at Cordoba, that workd well for a night in our 8.1 mtr van

Before the pandemic we stayed at the bus station. I had asked if it was okay to overnight and they said yes.
However, it was very very hot - in May for the open garden courtyards week - and with no shelter decided to overnight in another town after spending the day in the courtyards. (A 30 minute walk from the centre.)
Prior to that we had stayed at a car park near the cemetery and only a short walk into town. We were in a 7mtre mh.
I believe that there is a campsite with a bus stop for the centre nearby.

We stayed here and took the bus in for the day . Perfect . Van safe and coffee in the cafe in the morning when waiting for the bus lol

There is a municipal camp site at Cordoba. Not stayed there and a bit pricey I think.

I think we stayed here https://www.searchforsites.co.uk/marker.php?id=18186 a couple of years ago.
Easy walk into town. The Alcazar is amazing. Better than the Alhambra.
If your van is over 3.5t be careful. We got a speeding ticket travelling from Cordoba to Ronda We were doing 70k and it should have been 60k for over 3.5t van. It wasn't clear.

Yes, we found the municipal motor home parking area quite pricey, but it's close to the old part of the town (easy walk), lots of trees for shade and good sized parking bays. One thing to note is that a man with a clip board comes around each day to make sure you are parked in your bay, if he finds any part of your motorhome out of the bay he will mark the nearest tyre with yellow chalk. Not sure if you just get a warning or if there is a charge to pay for not parking in the bay!!
