As we are not wanting to use the campsite facilities I thought for the first time ever it would be mildly interesting to (actually not very interesting at all) I would monitor how much water we used to have for a shower. Seems like 6L per shower.
seems quite reasonable considering we have a 170L on board water capacity. Really boring I know but thought might break the tedium of Covid!

We checked ours last week and I came up with 7 litres per shower based on the waste water.

Sharing a shower might be a bit of a squeeze in most van bathrooms.
We have 65 litres of water that lasts us about two days with showers pot washing etc. I have managed a shower on the third morning but I had to top up the tank before management showered.
The daft thing with most motorhomes is the grey tank capacity. It’s less than the fresh water. I keep the grey water container under the drain and empty it every day.

6 Lt sounds low but I've never measured it but I reckon we probably use nearer 10 Lt as we use 35-40 lt a day.
We have only got a 160 lt fresh tank & waste tank is 130 lt never filled that but we empty every day before moving on.

Might have to watch our consumption now as I've just replaced the submersible pump with a pressure pump. A lot more pressure at the taps & shower now & the loo uses twice as much water to flush. (back to a spray bottle me thinks).

we seem to use around 12 litres a day now, was a bit more as i used to wet shave but have now bought a rechargeable shaver to use when we are away and we use bottled water for drinking

Our grey water tank is more than double our fresh and that’s on a panel van type Moho.
The fresh tank is where the spare wheel would be and the grey tank covers most of the bottom of the van.

How much were you hoping for?

Aren’t most around 100 - 110 litres?

250 would be nice, last van only had a 100 so I had to carry another 40 in the garage, if we had kept that van I would have fitted another tank.

similar to us , 160 fresh / 150 waste , I recon the wife could use 100 ltr’s in one shower

but we use about 10-15L Each for showers & 10L washing so normally 3 - 4 days
