Hi all, Do you leave your consumer unit turned on all the time… we’re only 2 yrs into owning a motorhome & getting conflicting accounts 2004 autotrail

I leave it connected all the time, I turn the original battery charger off and connect a smart charger to maintain the battery. Another advantage is I have power for the vacuum cleaner without an extension

Yes, at home I use 2 small battery maintainers so the power has t be on for them.
