We're now on our fourth tour of Europe, each one 4.5 - 6 months long. We've absolutely loved every minute (well, almost) and seen more of Europe than we could have dreamed of. But, we're now seriously considering that largish plot of land called Africa...
Can anyone help with the best research methods, are there any blogs???
Any helpful recommendations would be much appreciated.

There are two or three youtubers currently bashing about in Morocco. Eamon and Bec is a great Vlog and they are touring with others who are blogging and usually have links to them in the description

Mousy & Mr Mousy are on their way to Morocco (if not already there). Dawn documents their travels in an entertaining and informative manner(y). Hopefully she will respond to this notification (dependent on internet availability:rolleyes:).

Have you looked at the thread on here Morocco 2020 and others dating back to at least 2016.

Full of useful information that encouraged us to visit for the first time last year. Also in the resources section some downloads from TerryL and PhilandMena.

Anyway like so many others we are back again this year............. so what better recommendation.

Just been for the second time to Marrakech and essoauria and Atlas mountains. (non moho). Personally I will probably go to Morroco in the moho but will stick to the coast. There are plenty of campsites on the Essaouria to Marrakech road (which is very good) If you wanted to go inland there. There is a moho aire near Marrakech airport and I would recommend staying there if you visit as I saw it and it was busy. Personally I would get there late at night or early in the morning to avoid the crazy traffic as much as possible. Marrakech however is worth it IMHO.
There is a drive up to the Atlas mountains from Marrakech and it would be possible to do some of those in a van, must be some campsites up there, although I didnt see any.

FYI there were cops with mobile speed cameras on many of the main roads !

Many thanks for all your comments.
I've gone to the "Resources" section, typed in the search section "Morocco" and the reply comes up "not found" ???! ?
Sometimes,,, I wanna beat the shite out of this digeetal stuff!
I know its 99% certain to be operator error but one day I really will smash this bit of kit into a zillion pieces!
And wont regret it abit,,, will I?! ?

Cafe De Paris, Tangiers. Full of interesting people dressed up as WWII spies and also some ladies of a certain disposition. People waiting outside for you to come out and to be your friend: for money, of course...
Hated it!
John

Yep,,, exactly what I did:
Typed in "Morocco",,,
"computer says nooo"
Think David Walliams, Little Britain.
I know its me,,, but my natural "I know wot I'm doing"! vanity, makes me wanna scream,,,

I had a wonderful tour round with Blue Camel Tours in 2013 and, as usual, I keep a blog of all my travels. If interested, here's the link. It was written for friends and family and was basically my diary of the trip. Reference to Teddy in the blog?? Well, my child hood Teddy used to travel everywhere with me but he's now retired as old age (67++) is catching up on him - and me!
