Hi Everyone,

My Carado A 361 camping car is about to pass the 5 year warranty on its "waterproofness". The control here costs 120 chf (100 GBP). It will be out of warranty in a few days, and currently seems totally fine.

Any advice on what I should be considering when getting this done? I'm totally ok with getting up on the roof and checking seals. I guess if I see anything that may be dodgy, I could flag? Seems pointless to me if the check will only pay for peace of mind for a few days....., but if the check may pick up something that could be fixed, seems like a good idea...

Cheers,

Mike

From my experience the last thing you want is damp. Get the check asap and if there's anything maybe the warranty will cover it. A little bit of water can travel a long way and damp is so insidious you might not notice till you have a hellish repair to do
