If anyone saw the countless posts on my unregistered Campervan thread they will be aware of hIstory.
Dealer has collected my van today true to his word and given full refund. Scarily he has said that his other stock cv40 which he sold shortly after mine has had all its paperwork returned by DVLA exactly as mine was , showing Vat not paid to HMRC. Worryingly that’s two out of two with problems now.
I have bought another cv40 from another dealer (3rd attempt) who seemed excellent and very helpful, and am awaiting reg no to be assigned for 21 plate and paperwork to be processed by DVLA before collection.
It seems worrying for this issue to be raised again by DVLA in such a short space of time and original dealer has said to compass that he won’t sell any more of their vehicles till it’s sorted as he thinks it’s an internal issue.
Be interested to know if anybody has had a compass fiat based vehicle registered very recently.
I forsee trouble ahead, watch this space
