Hi all,

Away this weekend - stopped for the night and went to boil the kettle. Pump running, no pressure, no water. We were on a slight slope so moved so level bar a slight side to side road camber tilt. No joy. Tip forward, backwards - no joy. Long story short, we came home early. On checking today, the pump runs fine and I had 50 litres left out of an original 100 when we left home. Refilled tank to full. Everything working. There’s nothing apparently wrong with the pickup pipe but this enters the tank at the top front offside corner of the tank on a 90° elbow. Anything I can do? All I can think is drop the tank and see if there’s an inspection/build hatch on top of the tank - there’s no apparent access from the van… ¯\(ツ)

…or are these vans that fussy about level at half empty?

It does feel like it’s an issue with the pick up pipe. Could be a problem between the half full and full levels. An expert will be along soon 🤞

Does anyone know anything about the underslung tanks used? I think my only option is to drop the tank and look at the pickup. If there’s no hatch on top - I guess there must be or else they wouldn’t be able to fix the fittings - I’ll have to put one in.
I wonder if anyone else has actually measured their water use and knows just how much they can actually get out of their tanks full capacity… ¯\(ツ)

Anybody? Either the issue or measured their actual water use?
