Closing down rambling threads - Suggestion

Camel meat is quite nice but tough. Skewered and barbecued is the best way. I have eaten it many times in Morocco.
When we lived in Liberia, there was palpable excitement when someone drove past the butchers and the cow’s bum was hung up on the door - evidence that he had meat for sale - but you had to move fast when you got the phone call!

I was never quick enough to get a fillet though - I remember one Christmas dinner consisted of the toughest bit of scrag end we’ve ever eaten

Fuming.
Laughing cow is my favourite and I have literally just left your house after drinks and they didn’t materialise.
Jerry (Your Doggy grandson) who you totally forgot about since you got Buddy’s favourite things are Babybells.
Just had the new triple hazelnut magnum and it’s good.

LEDs.

Thats what's bothering me.

What's this bloomin strobing effect?

I know they turn them on and off dead quick, cos I've seen cars on YouTube and the DRL lights look odd.

But when I walk past our lounge lamp or go to switch it off I get a strobing effect from the movement.

Don't like it.

I always wanted a tortoise when I was young, but my father put me off by saying it was illegal to own one.

Also I may have a similar issue to the original question on a post and rather than start a new thread I can resurrect one that is 5 years old

Post a thread and you can do what you like with it, covet it, take screenshots and share it with your friends. "See that, that's my thread".

However, once someone else has posted on it, it ceases to be yours and becomes public property. It will go where it goes, if people are enjoying themselves and having fun on the thread, it might be frustrating for some, but closing it is not really in the spirit of this place.

The internet is full of well manicured forums, where every thread is in the right place and strictly on topic. The only trouble is; no one visits them.
I have printed them off framed them and hung them in the lounge, they make great conversational pieces ;)
