Removed the wheels to clean and seal, van has done 2000 miles.

Alloy wheels require frequent removal, cleaning and sealing to prevent corrosion, these Fiat alloys are poor quality in my opinion , anyway looking better now

Also applied Lanoguard to the wheel arches and underbody

The Lanoguard was easy to apply, did not have any problems with the sprayer, used 1ltr for the 4 wheel arches and the underbody, I'll monitor the protection over the next few months etc

Hats off to you, but with any "Diamond Cut" wheels you are on a loser as far as I am concerned, as the clear coat lacquer will at some point always crack and let water in.
Having looked up the reviews on "Bad Boys" alloy wheel treatment, you have purchased a premium product, but ask yourself please, how likely are going to want to go on with this regime? jacking up the van, removing the wheels, retorquing, and carrying out this cleaning regime? Once or twice maybe, but ongoing over the years, I very much doubt.
In my experience the worst wheels to have of any car/van is "Diamond Cut" finished alloy wheels, yes they look great when new, but the wheel refurbishers are rubbing their hands at £50+ per wheel to refurbish after 2/3 years on the vehicle.
Don't even mention split rim lacquered wheels to me, I have learnt so much the hard way on those also.

I agree on The quality of the wheels. the black paint on my wheels is showing small marks already from washing 2,500miles in and I am super careful with two buckets ,rinsing and quality wheel brushes ….

But I do wash it most weeks.

I have sealed mine on the faces with AutoGlym Extra Gloss Protection seems to last really well on my last van as that was what I had in.

When I have time they will come off and seal the inners as well

Daniel.

Yeah, not too concerned about the Diamond cut part of the wheels, some do corrode some don't.
The poor quality paint coating won't last if not treated regularly.
Not a problem removing and replacing wheels, easy with the right tools, 2mt Arcan Jack, decent Torque wrench and Dewalt impact gun.
A lot to be said for Steel wheels though, far easier to maintain.

Don't normally use an impact gun on any of my vehicles wheels, but this one is easy to use and control, 3 Torque settings.

I would try and get this done sooner rather than later, mine were as you described, small marks on the inside which would only get worse if not treated.

Where does everyone bring theirs to have them done .....

When refitting wheels give hub and rear contact face a smear of white grease to help removal. Don’t use copper slip or similar . Alloys will corrode onto hub due to galvanic corrosion, better to take off at home to make sure they have not stuck, can be a pain to get off if not greased

Mine got their once a year wash last week FLASH and the grim is gone
