CL site certification!?

We have just left a CL and someone told us it is closed ‘pending certification renewal’ . That is advertised on CMHC page.we have no idea what this could mean. Should we have been notified prior to arrival as we weren’t aware?

Every year CL's need an inspection before re-certification. If there have been problems, ie neighbour noise complaints, or a council objection, then that might delay re-certification while they correspond with neighbours or investigate.

Or maybe they have switched organisations that provide their exemption, that would cause a similar gap in certification.

If you pre-booked the CL and they didn't let you know they had cancelled your booking; that is poor form.

Yes it feels it. Whilst there, a non CMHC van was allowed on. Not unusual. !!
