Hi folks,
a friend of mine recently hired a 2008 Carioca 625.
A lorry squeezed past on a narrow road and damaged the bathroom window, breaking the double glazing.
The hirer has told him that his £500 deposit should "just about cover the repair".
This seems excessive to me, can any of assist in advising sensible costs for this?
Cheers.

Don't think you would get it much less anywhere

Depends on the size but a new window glass with labour - somewhere near.

If they lost a hire or if the frame is damaged he has got away lightly.

Agree with others I think he got off light.

Replaced a bathroom window on my very first MH 9 years ago and that cost me £500. I looked everywhere for a second hand one with no luck.
