Can anyone recommend a good site to spend Christmas and New Year in Devon or Cornwall? Hopefully it won't cost a small fortune and will have some get-together facilities. It would be nice if there was a bus stop outside too..... not asking for much, am I?

Look at Cofton Holidays. Indoor pool, sauna, steam room, restaurant, bar, bus stop right outside and one bus comes onto the site. https://www.coftonholidays.co.uk/
Get a pitch down by the fishing lakes as it’s quiet but not a long walk to the pool.

There’s another place called Lady’s Mile just along the main road. Think it might be a bit livelier than Cofton.

We've had a couple of New Years here at this site. It has the best toilet/shower facilities ever with a heated floor, would you believe. Also on New Years Eve, there is a St Ives fancy dress party where the harbour-side part of the town gets shut off to traffic to facilitate. Not the cheapest site but great location overlooking the sea.

We stayed here a few years ago for NY. Hillhead Caravan and Motorhome Club Site Brixham.
On site bar and restaurant and they had a NYE party in the club house. Didn’t go as we went into Brixham for the celebrations.
We enjoyed ourselves and had everything we wanted.

Ayr Holiday Park in St Ives is in a great location but is eyewateringly expensive.

I spent a couple of Christmas/New Years there but am not allowed back

Nice for dog walks there, also easy to get to Dartmouth as well (y)

Try Ross Park at Ipplepen, they do a wonderful Christmas break package,
Might be booked up already though

Try Carnon Wollas, Carnon downs I think they will be having a get together in the barn for N/year did last year. Super site buses in village to Truro & Falmouth.
We were there last N/year. Owners Dave & Ali will make you welcome.

+1 for this site

didnt find it that expensive for xmas when we were looking considering its location, yes its not as cheap as the laybys we normally use when down there out of season but most sites class xmas as high season
train to penzance and truro, walk to carbis bay and cycle to hayle...we were lucky with the weather last year
new years eve is a must see at st ives and if you really want to splash out you can book xmas dinner at the hotel next door
i would think your choice of site will be limited as many will be fully booked long ago, we booked st ives in the previous december and when we left on jan 2nd they asked us if we wanted this xmas as they were already nearly full
