Why is it that the only thing that you don't know(?) about your Hymer isn't covered by the Manual? I want to check the torque on the wheel nuts, but I'm not sure about removing the covers. Is the grey cover one complete piece or do I remove the centre 'Hymer' disk first? Do I just prise them off with a screwdriver, or if not, how? They seem very flexible and delicate

Ford make a dedicated removal tool, but you can probably do the job with a wide-ish screwdriver with some insulating tape on the blade, I'd try the centre bit first & if no luck there gently prise the outer section at the edges.

The whole grey cap comes out you should have some little tools r/a strip of steel with a plastic T handle, Hymer supply one with each wheel so you should have 4 of them.

I use a 'dent puller' it puts less strain on the retaining lugs, clean the plastic hub first to obtain a good seal and pull horizontally, with a firm pull.
