Have similar xgody ones, cheap and have been excellent.can input motorhome dimensions etc, lifetime updates approx every quarter year.can add own poi data to suit. I wouldn't buy an expensive one.
Only one negative I can think of is that it sometimes takes a while to link with a satellite.but not sure if that's common to expensive ones as well

I got a cheap android tablet (mine was from Aldi) and then use Igo - other apps are available. You buy the maps you need to and update when you need to.

I have various vehicles set - motorhome, car, cycle and walking, each has it's own profile.

Thank you everyone for the feedback.

I use CMNAV from a UK based company. They have a variety of models including some with live traffic and without and also dash cam built-in. I was a bit suspicious at the beginning due to their low price compared to Garmin or TomTom but the sat nav is excellent at least for me. No issues whatsoever and the after-sales are excellent, which is where this sat nav truly earns its money. I had some bad experiences with Chinese sellers from eBay and Amazon...

I have an xgody and its very good. Free updates are a bit of a faff to install and as far as I know they do not have live traffic as they do not have wifi or bluetooth. I use in combination with Copilot and google maps/waze which you can use on any android device.
