We're at the Chateau Marquis de Vauban at Blaye, France.

Free EHU, free aire in the vineyards max 48 hour stay. The evening sun is just dissapearing behind the trees. Just 2 MH's on site, both Brits !!

They have a good selection and also do odd bottles at 2 for 10 euro. A nice tour of the winery, which is modern, and a tasting session. It's a 15 min walk to the citidal of blaye next to the river, enjoy.

We stayed last year and they gave us a guided tour of the citadel and free wine aswell as actually driving us to the citadel !!

Taken as we left. Well worth a stop over. Just before we left i was talking to the other Brit staying there. They were in an old looking large mercedes A class. She said they also have a motorhome in Australia, just sold the one they had in Kenya, but are looking to buy another one there and the mercedes in France. Plus they have a property in France and live in Devon ... Bloody Greedy if you ask me LOL. If only ...... what a great retirement they must have, brilliant even !!
