    Three way 12v lighter socket extension with 2 x USB? Mine's hardwired in - got it from Aldi for a few quid.

    Another option is a 12v lighter plug with USB socket(s) in the end. I carry one in every vehicle. Cost about a quid.

    Arrived today, as people said in reviews, it's a cigarette socket thingy that fits inside a plastic mounting. 20160627_194758.jpg

    Took the sub-ten-quid route too (y)

    But as per OP, yes, £50+ is an almighty rip off! Some great links posted above for cheap CBE versions :)
