Hey all.
Just bought our first motorhome (swift escape). On our first day trip we were shocked at how few car parks I could get into.
even the coach parking was a no go.
So my question is, is there an app to find local parking areas that are motorhome friendly, like park4night but for daytimes!

park4night and searchforsites both give details for day parking as well as overnight stops.
You should get on most P&D, park and ride carparks although you will find some have height barriers.
It`s usually best to research where your going in advance, most towns have a decent website with parking listed and restrictions identified.
Where have you had a problem ?

I find it a problem and can put you off of visiting places. As well as those already mentioned, the following website has been very useful, although I think I read that they are no longer updating it but I may be wrong
www.park-my-motorhome.co.uk
also asking on here has helped in the past.

As many on here will say, save yourself a lot of disappointment, head south over the chanel via chunnel or ferry and the worlds your oyster!
Or join the join the UK clubs, dont arrive or leave outside designated times, and behave yourselves with parking against pegs & keep your animals on leads at all times.

Thanks all.
it was Camber sands on the Kent Coast where we struggled to park.
more for daytime stops than pitching.
I’ll have a look at the links you sent me.
