We have fitted these markers to our last two Ducato based motorhomes to help avoid clipping mirrors when passing other vehicles.

However, (senility or stupidity), I cannot remember the supplier’s name and on-line searches have not helped. Can anyone help?

Exactly what I was looking for.

Unfortunately I was searching under Mirror Protectors and/or Mirror Ears, not Vanears.

Thanks!👍
I Googled reflective van mirror strips then changed the view to "Images".

Could I ask how it helps you avoid clipping other mirrors ?

One I did earlier - sorry about the language ......

I'm wondering that too. Not sure what I would have done in your position there, I know if I was the one pulling out, I'd've stopped and waited for you to pass first, or if I saw you coming from far enough away, slowed down so you passsed before I had to pull out.

When I had googled mirror ears I tried mirror protectors and got loads of pictures of plastic covers. I then “reverse imaged” a photo of my mirrors with the picture of my motorhome fitted with the strips but just got lots more pictures of mirrors.

Searching is all about using the correct search terms…….

……
and I didn’t.😕

It doesn’t help me to avoid clipping other mirrors but, hopefully, it helps other drivers to notice, and avoid, ours.

So far so good.

PS
Can’t see how you could have avoided the other motorhome. Glad you got away with it.👍

........ or as in my case a lucky guess 😁.

Mirror guards do protect your mirrors, I have had 2 white van men hit mine and the mirrors remained intact whilst the protectors were just scuffed. I went one better after that and stuck high vis tape on each protector.
