Hi all
Looking for a decent campsite our wild camp spot for around the Hull area this weekend
as Son playing Ice Hockey game in Hull on Saturday.
many thanks

There are campsites at Wandahomes dealer, South Cave but not sure if that is customers only.
There are campsites at Burton Constable Hall, Sproatley, Tony Cooke garden centre at Coniston, the site is called Willow Pastures and there is an adjacent eatery pub, Spring Valley campsite between Preston & Sproatley, two CL type sites in the village of Burstwick Ashbradell in the centre and one opposite the golf club which I think is connected. There is a bus service from this village every hour I think.

I think you can park at the HGV park just to the west side of the city at Hessle but not sure if you can camp. This one, if able to, is the closest & easiest accessible for your needs as it is also a park & ride.
Hope this helps

Just a couple of possible sites below. these are just as a maybe as I have never 'parked' in any of them for an overnight stay and several are frequented by couples in cars etc!
park 1 is down a very secluded short lane but is in easy walking to a couple of pubs. Don't know if any restrictions and is used by courting couples at times!

park 2 is by the marina in the town centre. The main road to the marina used to have parking restrictions but when last there (6 months ago) was told the cameras no longer worked. This may have changed now. The point marked is public road so should be ok for a cheeky one night.

park 3 is down by the Humber Bridge viewing road/ country park. Again used by courting couples etc. Another close by possible is the Humber bridge car park. Again no idea if any restrictions etc.

park 4 is a city centre park in the Victorian part of town which has a perimeter road, again a possible for a cheeky one night!

park 5 is the Westwood near Beverley which is open common with parking areas for cars etc. Again no idea if any overnight restrictions etc but maybe worth a look.

beyond that try any of the many pubs in the area a la Brit Stops !

There's a huge car park near the city centre at Hull City MKM Football Club stadium. They're away to Birmingham this weekend so there should be plenty of room but you'd have to Google it to check about overnighting.

Hope you have peaceful night....HOWEVER not for me..
I love to wild camp but my criteria for wild camping is out in the wilds... forest/beach/secluded country spot.. and not in an industrial estate at the back/front of a super/hyper market in middle of a town or city.
I would not sleep and EVERY little noise would have me peering out of window... yep I am a wooze
