Camping Playa de Marbella Sold and Closing for 2023

Camping Playa de Marbella has been Sold to a Large Lesiure Group, all residents in the Caravans and Awnings (shanty) have been told they have to leave at the end of the season, as the whole site is closing Sept 2022 and the whole of 2023,and may open again all New for 2024....BUT it is surrounded by Million Pound Villas in Marbesa, so who knows.

That's what they said about Camping Fuengirola 4yrs ago but it's still closed today...

The only Obstacle for the New Owners seems to be it comes under Marbella Planning Authoritu not Malaga, and according to the locals major developments are not liked !
