Camping Jeugstadion Ypres (1 Viewer)

FYI. In case it hasn’t been mentioned. Camping Jeugstadion has been taken over by Urban Gardens. Looks like they are making improvements over the summer. Current prices are €20 for what looks like an aire spot and €26 for a pitch on the campsite.

We used the aire a few years ago ,and was great location ,and good facilities.

We have used the aire in the past too and the campsite last year for 3 nights. Cracking little place. From what I read they are going to add 50 more motorhome pitches. Urban Gardens have a place in Ghent too.

That will make a big difference with the extra spaces,as it’s always pretty much fully booked up

For anyone visiting do book on the Aire positions flat block paving, the campsite pitches are extremely difficult to get on and most are sloping and relatively small.

We are booked onto one of the hardstanding pitches this coming Sunday and Monday. Totally agree about them being a bit tight with 3 vans per hardstanding.
The positive is that it's an easy walk into the centre of Ypres, especially walking back after visiting the bar that has over 40 different beers on draft. Can thoroughly recommend the tasting paddles !!!.
