Early hours on Monday a neighbour of mine had her camper stolen from her driveway.
It was an Autotrail V Line the registration is FV 66 LBU and the colour was silver. This was in the Stourbridge area if you see please contact the police.
There are some scum about.

I am sorry I have no photos but the photo Panda has posted is the same I think it was a Fiat. This really is a shocker she lost her husband 7 weeks ago and then suffered a mini stroke a week after he died.
How cruel life can be.

Yes keeping it at the top. A thought, with the power of media and over 700 people on line right now I notice this entry has already been buried down the list quite quickly - is there technically a way of flagging up an 'important' post such as this for some time rather than be demoted down the list. Bit like I have some red flags (for some reason) on my headers related to media and blogs I must be following?

Was the Motorhome tracked? Do you know? Would the lady know if it was if she lost her husband recently?

Worth checking the paperwork?

That is shocking news, particularly after just losing her husband and suffering her own medical problems.

Bumping to keep the thread live, in case anybody has seen the stolen camper.

Thieving bunch of wotsits. You work hard all of your life to afford such things and then some horrible little $h!t comes along and does this.

Very sad indeed.

I spoke with her last night and the van was not fitted with a tracker. Thanks for all your support guys much appreciated. You have shown an interest which is more than the police who not even visited her.........but she got the inevitable crime number another job done by the police.

This is indeed terrible. The poor lady does not need all this and my heart goes out to her. :(

Now fellow Funsters, use this ladies plight as a lesson. Make super sure your MH is secure when you leave it, even if it is on your drive. Do not rely on what the manufacturer supplies you with. If I gave you my keys ours would not start, when the door is opened it’s alarm would go off AND it is linked to the house, so the house alarm would go off. It has motion sensors inside in case they come through a window. Plus a tracker and other stuff. I know nothing is perfect, but they would have to be, electronically, very clever to take it. Put simply, it’s not difficult, a days work, before the horse bolts, do something about it. :gum:
