Hi guys. A few years back bill said we was low on gas & I was about to put f/pie in the oven so took the the pastry off the top &cooked it side by side on the tray . Result all fluffy pastry & cooked in half the time. Val

I often use my Ridgemonkey for ovenable stuff especially if on hookup when I can use the electric hotplate.
Made some lovely 'roast' potatoes at the weekend by boiling them first and then browning-off in the Ridgemonkey with goose fat

another vote for Ridge Monkey, makes a great panini press or to heat up pasty's etc
